- Provide . 1 tbsp kashmiri chilli
- Get 1 tsp . red chilli
- Take . 2 tsp jeera(cumin seeds)

- Prepare . 3⁄4 tsp raai (mustard seeds)

- Peel, wash and chop beetroot. cut as per your preference..
- Take a kadai. heat oil put on low flame..once hot put kashimiri and red chilli and saute few sec. note not to burn the masala(if i feel oil is too hot off the flame and add the masalas)
- Lightly roast the zeera, raai and methidana and grind.. add this powder to the oil and saute well.
- Put vinegar,sugar, salt and curry leaves.saute
- Add the beetroot and saute well…adjust salt,sugar, vinegar and spice according to your taste.
